Fletcher Proctor has another post about high school football in Gwinnett. Here’s an interesting passage:

Hey Buford, could you please move up one classification? Please?

He’s got a point. Buford has dominated AA for a number of years now. Why not take a step up to AAA and compete there?

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution released the High School football rankings as of September 8. The complete polls for all classifications are here.

Gwinnett teams in the rankings are:

Class AAAAA: Grayson moved up a notch to #5.

Class AA: Buford remains #1.

Class A: Wesleyan dropped out of the top ten.
